Ackerman & Co. industrial leasing team completes lease with non-profit healthcare organization at 1578 Litton Drive
ATLANTA, GA, November 09, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ — Ackerman & Co. has completed a 114,000-square lease with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) in the company’s Stone Mountain Industrial Park at 1578 Litton Drive, located 10 miles from CHOA’s new, state-of-the-art North Druid Hills campus.
Ackerman & Co. industrial brokers Brett Buckner, Jimmy Stevens and Major Martin represented Ackerman in the lease. Brandon Wallace of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.
Children’s Health Care of Atlanta has converted the space into a replication of a hospital wing to test systems and procedures for doctors and nurses.
The facility is part of the 4.1 million-square-foot Stone Mountain Industrial Park portfolio Ackerman acquired in December 2016. Located just outside the I-285 Interstate perimeter of Atlanta in the Tucker/Stone Mountain submarket, Stone Mountain Industrial Park offers a mix of front, rear and side-load warehouse facilities.
Ackerman & Co. has recently closed three leases totaling 274,800 at the park, bringing total occupancy to 94 percent, up from 84 percent at the time of acquisition.
