The Waffle Ice Cream is called “I Love You a Waffle Lot.”

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated every third Sunday of the month. July is National Ice Cream month and it’s certainly the weather for ice cream.

Ferrell is the Owner and Founder of Nana’s Chicken-n-Waffles and always brings delicious recipes to the table at her establishment.. Family, Fashion and flawless flavorful food are the 3 things she is most passionate about. Kelli developed quite the palate for amazing cuisine from her Maryland roots and upbringing and couldn’t wait to bring a taste of Maryland to Atlanta.

Given the restaurant’s name, “Nana’s”, customers expect true southern chicken and waffles. The menu at Nana’s does not disappoint. It features five types of waffles, ranging from malted traditional to red velvet. Soon to be released also will be “fried ice cream” served over a waffle.

Chef Kelli’s cookbook “Kooking with Kelli” was released in July, 2022. She is currently working on a Mommy & Me cookbook as her 7 year old twin daughters have become little “Suzy Homemakers” and are showing a tremendous interest in cooking. The book will be released late 2023.

Chef Kelli has appeared on an episode of Guy’s Grocery Games on The Food Network, Access Hollywood, and a cooking series on GMA. Recently she appeared on the Fox 5 News segment for ‘Atlanta Food Truck Friday’.

In 2023 Ferrell sadly announced to her loyal customers that she was closing her flagship location of 6 years of Nana’s in Conyers, GA. She is making great efforts to find a new, updated location to add another ‘Nana’s’ in Conyers where it all started. She is also currently seeking the perfect location in Midtown Atlanta; and you never know where the Nana’s Food Truck will Pop Out Next!

Kelli Ferrell’s committed relationship to Community Service moved her to Feed over 500 hospital workers in their time of need during the pandemic; The City of Atlanta and Fulton County Commissioner Natalie Hall issued a proclamation declaring March 11th ‘Kelli Ferrell’ Day in the City of Atlanta.
